Thamo Telele

Thamo Telele is a small lodge located in a 250 hectare private wildlife reserve just thirty minutes drive from Maun in Botswana, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. The lodge has a very peaceful setting in a forest of acacia and leadwood trees on the banks of the Thamalakane River.

Accommodation & Facilities
Thamo Telele has nine beautifully furnished safari tents and two thatched honeymoon suites, all built on raised timber decks, and with large bedrooms, air conditioning over the beds, and en-suite bathrooms with baths and outdoor showers. The lodge has a main mess building with a dining room, bar and lounge, set on a large teak deck with views over the river and the bush. There is a lovely pool too.

Wildlife & Activities
Thamo Telele reserve has an abundance of wildlife including giraffe, zebra, springbok, ostrich, eland, gemsbok and kudu as well as excellent bird life. The lodge offers a variety of activities including walking trails, bird watching, mountain biking, horse riding, and mokoro trips on the Thamalakane River. It is an ideal place to relax before or after a safari.
