Londolozi Granite Suite

The Londolozi camps are set close to the area where founders Charles Boyd Varty and Frank Unger first lit their camp fire in 1926.  In the intervening years, five glorious camps have been built amid the 7,000 hectares of exclusive wilderness that is the Londolozi Private Game Reserve.  With the opportunity to game drive through another 9,000 hectares of the adjoining Sabi Sands reserve, this is one of the finest wildlife areas in South Africa.  Londolozi has been a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux group since the early 1990s.

Accommodation & Facilities
The super-luxurious Private Granite Suites accommodate just six guests and can be booked individually, or as a private camp, so a perfect choice for small groups celebrating special occasions. Each of the expansive suites is decorated in an elegant, contemporary fashion with large doors and windows opening directly onto the Sand River.  Outside each suite, guests will find a private, heated swimming pool to enjoy during safari downtime.

Wildlife & Activities
Game drives at Londolozi are taken by professional and knowledgeable rangers who have a wealth of experience.  With trackers sitting at the front of the vehicle on the lookout for fresh tracks, your guide will drive into the game rich wilderness in pursuit of elephant, lion, leopard and plentiful plains game.  Walking through the bush is also an option and is a wonderful way to see the smaller things often missed from a vehicle.  When not exploring the bush guests can enjoy yoga, massage, a well-equipped gym, fishing and day trips into the surrounding communities.
