Garonga Safari Camp

Garonga Safari Camp has a peaceful location on the 22,000 hectare Makalali private game reserve, close to the Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Accommodation & Facilities

Garonga Safari camp has just nine rooms, with six in the main camp and three in Little Garonga. Each part of the camp is separate and private from the others, giving guests peace and quiet. The tents at Garonga Safari Camp have large bedrooms, spacious en suite bathrooms, outside showers, and well-placed decks with chairs and hammocks for watching wildlife in the riverbed. The main lodge has a dining room, bar, and a lounge all under a thatched roof, and a pool on the deck outside.

Wildlife & Activities

Makalali has a good population of wildlife, and with activities such as wildlife drives and walks available at Garonga Safari Camp guests have excellent opportunities to see lion, elephant, rhino and leopard, in a lovely surrounding that very few other people know about. Massages, sleepouts, and bush meals are also offered here.
