Kalepo Camp

Located on a dry river with sweeping views of the majestic Mathews Mountains; Kalepo Camp is a private use, family friendly, luxury tented camp which offers exclusive use of 390,000 acres straddling both side of the Mathews Mountains.

Accommodation & Facilities
Kalepo Camp is an exclusive use, luxury tented camp with three double tents and a fourth family tent which consists of adjacent double and twin tents. All the tents have ensuite bathrooms with private showers that are open to the elements, allowing guests to shower under the sky or stars. Meals are often eaten alfresco but there is a dining room, a lounge, a library and a small pool.

Wildlife & Activities
Kalepo Camp is nestled in the heart of Samburuland, where people and wildlife co-exist as they have done for centuries. Activities here include visits to authentic kijijis (Samburu villages) and drives to see the elephants that frequent the area. It is also possible to visit the ‘singing wells’ and see local people calling their cattle in to drink. With soaring mountains and dramatic scenery Kalepo Camp is the perfect location from which to explore the diversity of Kenya’s “Big North.”
