Swimming pools in the Masai Mara
We’re often asked if it’s possible to stay at a camp in Kenya’s Masai Mara where there’s a swimming pool. Twenty years ago there were very few camps we could have suggested but today there is a lovely selection scattered across the plains of the Masai Mara and adjoining private conservancies.
Here’s where you can find camps with a swimming pool in the Masai Mara:
Main Reserve
Sala’s Camp – Under canvas safari experience with contemporary comfort. Secluded location beside the Sand River on the southern edge of the Mara in an area teeming with year-round wildlife.

Naboisho Conservancy
Naboisho Camp – Extensive range of safari activities thanks to its setting on the private Naboisho Conservancy and particularly well known for superb guiding.
