Karen Gables

Karen Gables is a lovely boutique hotel in the peaceful and verdant Karen district on the west side of Nairobi. At the foot of the Ngong Hills, Karen is an upmarket part of this vibrant city.

Accomodation & Facilities
Built in the style of a Cape Dutch farmhouse, Karen Gables has just seven attractively designed and very spacious rooms. The rooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms, a fireplace, safe and a tv. Some rooms have views of the lush gardens. The house has a lovely cosy sitting room, a big dining room, a shady verandah, a large pool in the leafy gardens, and a seating area under a big tree.

Wildlife & Activities
Although many people just stay overnight in Nairobi, there is in fact a surprising amount to do here, with the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife giraffe centre and the Daphne Sheldrick elephant orphanage nearby, along with Nairobi National Park, Kazuri Beads and other craft workshops all within easy reach.
