Little Garonga

Little Garonga is located in the spectacular Makalali Game Reserve, outside Gravelotte in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The reserve overlooks the majestic Drakensberg mountain range in the Limpopo Province. The camp is small and intimate with only three suites and would work perfectly as an exclusive use for larger groups of family and friends as well as couples on romantic getaways.

Accommodation & Facilities
Little Garonga is comprised of three thatched suites, one spacious two-bedroom villa designed for families and two cosy one-bedroom suites for couples that are after privacy and exclusivity. Each suite is fully equipped with an en suite that includes a bathtub, indoor and outdoor showers as well as a raised deck to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding bush.

Wildlife & Activities
Makalali has a good population of wildlife, with activities such as wildlife drives and walking safaris available. It is common to spot elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo and lion and if you are lucky you may see cheetahs, spotted hyena, wild dog, hippo, crocodile, as well as a variety of colourful birdlife. Little Garonga also offers a Star Bath experience, where you can enjoy a night under the stars complete with a four poster bed, dining for two and an outdoor bathtub that overlooks a waterhole known to attract wildlife.
