Mont Rochelle Hotel

Mont Rochelle is a boutique hotel located on a long-established 39 hectare vineyard, making good use of old farm buildings some of which date from the 19th Century. The hotel has a lovely setting on the lower slopes of the Klein Dassenberg mountains near Franschhoek in the heart of the Cape winelands.

Accommodation & Facilities
Mont Rochelle has sixteen bedrooms and six suites arranged around three wings of the hotel and the separate Manor House with four rooms, which is ideal for larger families or groups of friends. The luxurious air-conditioned rooms all have en-suite bathrooms. The hotel has two restaurants, a spa, a gym, a floodlit tennis court, plenty of lawns, and a large pool.

Wildlife & Activities
Mont Rochelle’s lovely 150 year old wine cellars are set against the Klein Dassenberg Mountains and were originally fruit packing sheds. Wine tasting and cellar tours are on offer, and private cellar tours with the wine maker can also be arranged in advance. Additional activities available include the Wine Tram, horse riding, mountain biking, hiking in the mountains, outdoor swimming pool, gym, wellness centre, massages, Jacuzzi and sauna, golf reservations and helicopter flights.
