Pablo House

Pablo House has a wonderful elevated setting in Johannesburg’s Melville district, an area know for its creative, artistic character, two universities, and undulating landscape. Close to the Melville Kopjes Nature Reserve, the views from the house are both urban and rural and considered to be some of the best in the city.

Accommodation
With a theme based on the notorious Colombian Pablo Escobar, Pablo House has just eight rooms, spacious, well equipped, and individually decorated with strong vibrant colours. Each room features original contemporary works of art created by a different South African artist. Seven rooms suit couple, while the Deluxe Loft which accommodates four, is ideal for a family being equipped with a kitchenette and living room. The in-house restaurant Pablos Dos Manos, serves lunch and dinner from 1.00pm to 9.00pm, while breakfast is served in the nearby Pablo Eggs Go Bar. The open-air rooftop terrace provides panoramic views, and is sheltered from the cool breeze by glass panels surrounding it, making it a wonderful spot for evening drinks, as well as meals.

Activities
Melville is an excellent area for bars, restaurants, museums and galleries, and is one of the creative hubs of Johannesburg. Guests can easily access great shopping and places of cultural and historic interest a little further afield with a taxi.
