Queen Victoria Hotel

The Queen Victoria Hotel has an idyllic setting looking out over Cape Town’s iconic Victoria and Albert Waterfront. Situated close to the foot of Signal Hill, it is just a few minutes’ walk from the V&A Waterfront, and is one of a collection of very attractive heritage buildings.

Accommodation and Facilities
The Queen Victoria Hotel has just 35 rooms, all of which have a view of either Table Mountain or the harbour. The feel of the hotel is one of sophisticated and understated luxury, and it makes good use of unusual and creative works of art and architectural features. As well as 15 Deluxe and 17 Premium rooms there are three suites, Mountain Junior, Executive, and Presidential. Whatever the title, the rooms all feature superb furnishings, every modern convenience imaginable, coffee machines, a tv, wifi, and air conditioning.

Experience and Activities
Guests have the use of a gym and a spa, and access to several excellent restaurants at both the Victoria and Alfred Hotel and the Dockhouse Hotel, which are mere minutes away by foot. The Queen Victoria Hotel is a perfect base for exploring Cape Town itself, and enjoying the numerous excellent cafés and restaurants for which the city is renowned. It’s also very easy to visit other parts of the Cape peninsula, and the Winelands as well, either with your own car or an expert local guide.
