Serian Nkorombo Camp

Serian Nkorombo is a traditional mobile camp which is cleverly located in the Masai Mara Game Reserve to make the most of animal concentrations in the area. Guests staying here have a good chance of seeing the wildebeest migration and in particular one of the dramatic river crossings as the herds move across the Mara River. Children of all ages are welcome at Serian Nkorombo.

Accommodation & Facilities
Nkorombo blends into the surrounding vegetation and comprises four simply furnished tents with en-suite bathrooms including bucket showers and flush loos, and one family unit. The family tent can accommodate four comfortably and two additional beds can be added if required. There is a comfortable mess tent set up with day beds and cushions which is a great spot to relax during the evenings. The guides here will organise picnic breakfasts, lunches, sundowners and starlit dinners – whatever you require. Evening meals are set up in different locations around camp and are often finished around the camp fire which is particularly comforting during the colder evenings.

Eating & Sleeping
Children can have separate meal times and although there is no children’s menu the chef will try and accommodate specific requests with a little prior notice. If parents would like to eat later, an Askari (night watchmen) can sit outside the tent to listen in case a child should wake. A nanny can be arranged for an additional fee.

Wildlife & Activities
Activities on offer at Serian Nkorombo include game drives, bush walks and river fishing. Balloon safaris can be organised at an extra cost.
