When it comes to dining venues, Africa must surely offer more variety than anywhere else.  Here are some of our favourite spots:

Giraffe Manor, Nairobi – Sharing breakfast with the resident giraffe is a delight like no other.

Jack’s Camp, Makgadikgadi Pans, Botswana – Delicious small bites are served in a magnificent Bedouin-inspired tent with stunning views across the shimmering pans.

Pelo Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana – Clear shallow channels serve as idyllic lunch stops on a safari through the Delta.

Zarafa Camp, Linyanti, Botswana – It’s rare, but you  might find the odd unexpected guest investigating your table safari dining in camp.

Alphonse Island, Seychelles – The ‘flats lunch’ at St François (a short boat ride from Alphonse Island) is like stepping into the best beach brochure ever.

Phinda Vlei Lodge, &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve, South Africa – No need for television here with fabulous views over the wildlife filled plains at every mealtime.

Leobo Private Reserve, Waterberg, South Africa – Combine dining with an anatomy lesson under the watchful eye of a hippo skeleton.

Rekero Camp, Masai Mara, Kenya – Breakfast in the Masai Mara, a perfect way to start the day.

Morukuru Ocean House, Eastern Cape, South Africa – watching whales play in the ocean while you eat is definitely not an everyday experience.
