Safari planning with the experts

Tip number two in the Daily Telegraph’s five golden rules for travel in 2022 was to ‘make packages your priority’. Editor Nick Trend pointed towards ATOL licensed companies like Aardvark Safaris as offering “the best holidays with the best protections.”

Financial protection aside (although the value of that shouldn’t be underestimated) we also offer several other benefits for those looking at a holiday in Africa or the Indian Ocean.

Where, when and why?
We’ve kept in touch with all our friends and colleagues throughout Africa over the past two years. We’ve travelled (Mauritius, Maldives, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia and Kenya) and kept in touch by phone and video call. You can be sure we will offer you the best advice and guide you to a country, an area or an experience that will suit you.

You will also recognise the names of those in our offices in Tidworth and Musselburgh as they are the experts who’ve been with us for many years, both on the phones or at shows, and behind the scenes making sure everything is booked and the bills are paid. You can find out on our meet the team page. From your first call the planning will be easy and the experience seamless.

Simple things make big differences. Whether that’s having someone to meet you at the airport gate to guide you through immigration and customs or quizzing you on your favourite drinks before you travel so that camps deep in the African bush can be prepared. We’ve been doing this as Aardvark Safaris for over 22 years and many of us have worked in travel for even longer. We’ll use our experience to make sure you come back and tell us your holiday was your ‘best ever’.

Understanding the paperwork
Our team of paperwork geeks extracts the key information into bite-sized chunks and draws together a personalised document for each set of travellers. We’ve tested the online forms and can guide our clients through how the system works. If you’re keen to go, we’re ready to help.

Working fast
If you’ve got some leave saved up, or suddenly find yourself longing for tropical temperatures, we can work quickly and get everything arranged for you to head somewhere exciting and sunny within a short period. Until recently our record was 72 hours from the first phone call to the steps of the plane, but that was beaten by a rearranged honeymoon which was all put back in place in under 48 hours. If you have the time to get away, we can make it happen.

What next?
Our team of experts has travelled widely throughout Africa and the Indian Ocean and can offer expert advice on every type of safari from family and beach holidays to riding and primate safaris. If you are keen to plan a safari with an expert do get in touch – chatting to people by phone or email is what we do best. We listen, we explain, we answer all sorts of questions even those you didn’t know to ask, and finally we make suggestions. If this is your first time to Africa or your twenty first, we have a team standing by to help make the planning easy and the journey the best ever. Please get in touch whatever stage you’re at.

We are looking for a 8 – 10 day wildlife safari in Feb – March 2023. for 2 I want to try to ensure I can see giraffes. We would be flying from North West England. We don’t want self drive and we don’t want to sleep in tents. We don’t want to change lodges every night.
At this point we just want an idea of cost and itinary.

    Thanks

Thanks for getting in touch. I’ll ask one of the team to read the things you’d like and those you want to avoid and then send ideas by email.
